QINGDAO HYDROVOX TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD. (referred to as "HydovoX") is a high-tech marine enterprise engaged in the research and development, manufacturing, sales, and service of a full range of Black Pearl wave unmanned ship(also known as "wave glider") equipment and related core components.
The company has over 7000 square meters of dedicated R&D and production space, and its core R&D team has more than 10 years of technical development experience. They have led projects such as the National 863 Program, National Key R&D Program, National Sea Initiative, Tianjin Science and Technology Support Program, Shandong Province Key R&D Program, National Science and Technology Assistance Economy 2020, and other special projects. About Our Products
Platform Introduction
Black Pearl is an autonomous unmanned surface vessel that uses wave energy to drive and generate solar power. It has satellite communication, global positioning, and autonomous navigation capabilities, and can achieve large-scale, long-distance navigation measurement and real-time feedback of environmental parameters such as sea surface hydrology and meteorology.
Working Principle
The Black Pearl consists of a 4-7 meter flexible suspension cable connecting the surface mother ship and the underwater tractor. The surface mother ship undulates up and down under the action of waves, and then the underwater tractor is pulled up and down by the flexible cable to generate up and down motion. The underwater tractor uses its swinging hydrofoil with fixed angle limit to convert the up and down motion into forward propulsion, thereby pulling the surface mother ship forward.
Scientific load
Black Pearl can be equipped with weather stations, laser wind radars, atmospheric waveguides, wave sensors CTD、 Warm salt winch ADCP、 Multi parameter water quality meters, hydrophones, magnetometers, visual identification systems, AIS and other payloads are used to complete tasks such as ocean meteorological observation, tsunami and earthquake monitoring, marine animal monitoring, and offshore energy detection. They can also be equipped with underwater acoustic communication machines to complete surface and underwater data relay tasks.
Unique Features
It has the functions of self powered energy, global positioning, satellite communication, and autonomous navigation. It can autonomously navigate along a preset path or virtually anchor around a predetermined location, achieving long-term and large-scale (10000 kilometers per year) unmanned autonomous continuous navigation measurement and remote real-time feedback. In addition, it can meet the requirements of virtual anchoring at a fixed point on the sea surface to complete data transmission relay services for underwater and surface equipment.
