Meteorological observation

The ocean is an important component of the global meteorological system, and meteorological data at the sea surface and air sea interface are crucial for weather forecasting, climate research, and disaster warning. Traditional meteorological observations rely on shore based stations, buoys, or research vessels, which have problems such as limited coverage, short endurance, and high maintenance costs.

The Black Pearl  can be equipped with a meteorological sensor group (including anemometers, temperature and humidity sensors, barometers, radiometers, etc.) to achieve continuous observations for months or even years in designated sea areas.

Typical applications: Track monitoring of typhoons in the northwest Pacific, observation of global climate change air sea fluxes, and warning of severe convective weather in coastal waters.
