DeepWave X is a deep-sea data relay beacon capable of descending to depths of up to 6,000 meters and equipped with an RS-232 communication port. It can serve as a serial relay for submersibles or underwater platforms, and also functions as an equipment recovery beacon. When on the surface, DeepWave X acquires location information via GPS and establishes two-way data communication with connected devices through its RS-232 serial port. Additionally, it transmits GPS data to end users via the BeiDou network—just like a conventional beacon. Through HydrovoOnline, a browser-based management and operation platform, users can remotely monitor the device’s location and data information.
