Full-range wave sensor

The HZ-WAVES-1 series wave sensors use the MEMS gravitational acceleration principle to measure waves. Based on classical wave theory, by measuring the motion acceleration and attitude of the carrier, these sensors can calculate wave height, wave period, wave direction, one-dimensional energy density spectrum, two-dimensional directional spectrum, and spectral characteristic parameters of wind-generated waves and swell. Additionally, they can infer data such as wind speed and wind direction from the wave spectrum.

  • It features high measurement accuracy, low power consumption, small size, light weight, and stable, reliable performance. This series of wave sensors is strictly designed and manufactured in accordance with the relevant provisions and standards of GB/T 14914, the “Marine Observation Specifications,” and can be applied to various observation platforms, including buoys, wave gliders, and unmanned vessels. 
    This series of wave sensors includes four models: WAVES-1A, WAVES-1B, WAVES-1C, and WAVES-1D. Among these, the WAVES-1A wave sensor uses an imported motion sensor, while the WAVES-1B, WAVES-1C, and WAVES-1D wave sensors use domestically produced motion sensors.
