This is a real-time communication winch designed for long-term immersion in seawater. It features a streamlined design, with front and rear fairings completely encasing all mechanical and electrical components, resulting in an exceptionally minimalist and smooth exterior. The winch has been specially developed for equipment with high hydrodynamic resistance, such as wave gliders, underwater vehicles, and streamlined buoys. Powered by a 30W motor, it achieves precise matching between the transmission system and cable payout mechanism. It can be optionally equipped with either carrier-wave or RS485 communication protocols, with a total power consumption not exceeding 50W (under a load of no more than 7 kg). The entire winch measures just 580mm × 170mm × 140mm, weighs 11 kg in air, and only 8 kg when submerged, significantly reducing the platform’s load. All components—including the motor, rotating slip rings, and transmission mechanisms—are housed internally. The control system is sealed within the fairings, ensuring a high degree of integration and reliable performance.
